Carolina Rosales-Wyman, is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker specializing in individual and couple therapy. She has been trained in Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), Gottman method, and EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing). She is currently a candidate for Depth Analysis program certification at the C.G.Jung Institute of San Francisco. She maintains a private practice in San Rafael, CA. She is fully bilingual (English/Spanish) and bicultural.
With over 15 years experience as a mental health provider, she is currently serving as private practitioner working with a broad spectrum of clients. Among her areas of expertise are Couples therapy (including same gender couples, and racial and cultural mixed couples), Individual therapy, including survivors of sexual abuse and other trauma related injuries, depression and anxiety disorders, and Spiritual growth.
Carolina is an interactive, psychodynamic therapist. Her therapeutic approach is based on John Bowlby's Attachment theory and Sue Johnson's Emotionally Focused modality. She integrates techniques and interventions from Jungian, Cognitive-Behavioral and Systems theory. With compassion and non-judgment, she works with each couple and individual to help them build on their strengths and attain the personal growth they are committed to accomplishing.
Carolina obtained her Bachelors in Social Work at the University College of the Fraser Valley, British Columbia, Canada, and her Masters in Social Work at San Francisco State University in California. She is married and a mother of two.
